Give It Time

I really trusted you, I really bothered to care

I gave ya' honesty but truthfully it wasn't fair

Gave in to truth or dare, took off my underwear

Naive and prone to danger, now I'm left with shame to cater

Oh, give it time, give it time, give it time

Wonder what's going on with you, are you out there?

Making fools out of girls, saying you're geniune and kind

No one's perfect, I know, but lovin' you

Was clearly a crazy thing to do

Makes me nervous knowing things today are moving fast

Hard to know what really lasts

In the end this life will start to make sense,

But for now I will live!

Oh, give it time, give it time, give it time

You're mouth has kerosine, you fuel a firey dream

You look for trouble in your own team

I should've stayed my ground, I was lost not found

I am happy now that you are not around

Oh, give it time, give it time, give it time
