Ghosts of Days Gone By

Location

Once a lie, always a lie though you may not grieve.

It may fade and drain away, but will never truely leave.

And true the world might forget, but there are those who know.

People who were a part of you and you cannot outgrow.

I lived a lie in days gone by and let it fade away,

though women knew and men knew they all forgot one day.

But one man could not forget, he was but the source.

In fact if it were not for him, I would have stayed my course.

Now this ghost of my past i should cast aside,

But for the distant memory that awoke inside.

No escape, but dare i run, the devilish side wonders.

Why not stay, and play a while? Ignore the fearing thunders!
