Ghost

Location

I have wandered these halls

for years long past.

For a time I wandered

alone.

My only company,

the Ghost Cats.

One day, I heard a voice

calling my name.

A little girl, starting with sightless eyes,

calling "Leo! Leo! Grandfather Leo!"

I answer her,

caressing her hair.

She promises to remember me,

as her parents look through me.

They cannot see.

More come, calling my name.

"Give us a sign," they cry.

No.

I don't want to.

I live in the world

of the sightless.

They leave me alone

in my misery.

Only the sightless

see my world.
