Get with it

John 3:6-7      New King James Version

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’

Get with it

Salvation to most is a word and has a certain meaning

I am delivered from my sins, but I don’t know what that means

I am told that I am lost and that I try to understand

Well, I knew then where I was, so my lostness was not here.

I had to feel guilty, and I wanted to be different

And by different, I mean just different from myself

How can I explain this and make you understand?

You need to die so you can live, and that explains itself?

The more we talk, the more confusing is our explanation

So we ourselves can’t witness the truth at all

It takes the Lord Himself to open understanding

And to tenderize our conscience for He saves after all.

God saves out of Himself me into Himself.

He cuts me off from me, so I am delivered from myself

United with Him in Himself and seated in Christ Jesus next to Himself

Now I sit here myself and write to myself

And I feel myself as I meditate by myself

But I am not by myself if I invite myself

So to be out of myself so as not to be lost in myself.

All of the created must be relinquished surely.

So that the created will enjoys fully in the creator

For greatness does not depend on how much we have gathered

But on how much we have lost and that we'll find out later
