Generations

The brave youth of the world,

their courage is looked down upon.

Are we not supposed to have a voice?

"They're young" they say.

"They're ignorant."

"They're fools at the least."

Conforming to society's thoughts maybe?

Those thoughts are untrue.

These children, the youth,

we can protest what is right.

But they fight back with fire.

Our intelligence is assumed,

never heard, never assessed.

So who's actually the fool?
