Gen. Y

Are we the generation of such little faith?

They believe we have little to give and so much to take

Yet, as much as we fail we also succeed

For what is a generation without a few defeats

Look at the generation now, in power and in control

Building up taxes, starting wars, walking on thin ice, is there little remorse?

There is so much to give from what has been taken

A rain forest cut down, bombs created, while racism still exists

Yet, in the young I see a future

A group of united people, nationally, ethnically, and culturally

All merging into one, unlike those before us
