Gaurdian

Guardian

Given the wings so you can fly,

Out of the hood from where you came no allies.

Friend by relatives but met you in the chapel

Became family through the ring who was the one who gave me the apple,

Of knowledge but not with evil intentions

You seen a kid with ambition

Believed to help was your mission

Followed your intuition,

But you knew deep down I barely listened

The things you taught were nothing but knowledge

A spoken man of wisdom from experience

I knew what you spoke was serious

But life stepped in a I took your words to heart

Picked them back up like I was driving a cart

Now all I can say is thank you

If I could the future I would take you

Show you the man that you’ve created

Disappointed surely mistaken

All you did was make greatness

A true guardian you are

Teach my son the true father figure you are

Brandon Ceasar

I wrote this poem about my mentor who helped me while I started high school. He gave me so much information about how I should carry myself, my grades, how to play piano, and more.
