Gateway

The wind was there, the stars were falling.

The clouds moved in, the moon danced.

Earth was heaven for just that night.

The times at home were left behind, I was feeling happy.

Parents, don't care.

School, don't care.

Life, sure as hell don't care.

When the colors glow and the world becomes a blur that is bliss.

Night visions of monsters from the trees, the grass is swimming, and feeling the dark.

This night was my loosening of the chains and the recovery of my scars.

Though this won't last I will remember this night, My gateway.
