Galatians 2:20

I found inspiration from the bible verse Galatians 2:20.

All my life I followed the outside,

Followed those who lead me astray.

Always wanted to part of the in crowd, because I thought the in crowd was right.

But I soon learned the hard way.

When I turned around I saw no one. No one.

No one was there to have my back, my side, or be my shoulder.

But I soon learned there was one. Just one person.

I realized he was always there, but I wasn't.

He watched over me as I followed those who betrayed me.

He watched over me while I was going the opposite way.

He opened my eyes and let me see myself for who I truly am. I am His.

Jesus Christ showed me who I was and I haven't turned back since.

He lives inside of me and guides me through this road called life.

Now I worship Him instead of others. Now I live by what He says and not what they say.

I happy now. I feel I have a place in this world now. I feel complete, whole.
