36 For what benefit is it for a person to gain the whole world,

yet forfeit his life?

Gain

Gaining in the spiritual life ... is so conditional

It measures exultation ... in suffering and loss

It can’t measure gain ... but thrives on terms loosing

Not on how much was retained ... but poured out ignoring cost

Those who can afford to loose the most ... have the most to give

You know the power of love ... is attested by its sacrifice

Love is love in Christ absorbed ... as it searches through the ages

For vessels to be filled with it ... in the miracle of the wise
