My feet take root in the core of the earth, my hair wraps around the moon. I turn my head, and the ocean sways in harmony with me, kissing the shore on either side, rocking itself to sleep. I bear the weight of the sky on my shoulders, breaking my spine, encompassing my body, imprisoning my breath. I feel the earth's heart becoming hotter underneath my toes, feel the anger with which she warns her dwellers. I hear and see nothing but wind in my eyes and fire in my fingertips. Some say I do not exist, but who determines what is real and what is naught?
