Future in her Eyes

Because I love you, I'll wait

I'll wait on the couch for you to come home after a long day at work.

Then we'll sit for hours while I listen to you vent about your troubles.

And at the end of all this venting, I'll say how eveything is going to be ok,

Because I love you

Becaue I love you, I won't give up on us.

We'll sit and have those late night car conversations

Where we peel back a layer to our vunerabilites and fears,

And while you're lying in my arms, I'll say how everything is going to be ok,

Because I love you

Because I love you, I'll stay

We argue, for we're not perfect

But I won't run when things get rough

I believe that in the mitts of all this sorrow, so much hope endures

And at the end of all the yelling, I'll say how everything is going to be ok,

Because I love you

Because I love you, our happily ever after won't fade

As I wrap you tighter in my arms and look deeper into your eyes

I see love

And when you're worried about the future, I look at you and say how everything will be ok

Because I love you
