You think you're above us all, you think you're so special
You think you're top shit ‘cause of your academic level
While it's good to have all of your shit together
Having high grades doesn't make you any better

You're an obedient student, honestly, good for you
But someone with average grades, still have value
They don't care where they are in the ‘school academic hierarchy’
Because unlike you, school isn't always their number one priority

Don't diminish them to nothing because they're not like you
They actually have a life and have better things to do
They don't focus on school 24/7, they actually have some fun
Even if that means not getting some of their homework done

Academic grades don't define people, their personalities do
And judging from that, it isn't looking too good for you
Go out in the sun, stop thinking less of people because of their grades
Maybe if you throw yourself into the sunlight, you'll stop throwing shade.
