Friends 'Til the End

Wed, 11/05/2014 - 19:04 -- kgrogan

When I’m sad or down

Or feeling blue

My friends are there

To brighten the mood

We always have fun

When we are together

This type of friendship

Will last forever.

They make me laugh

To the point where I cry

The tears are streaming

Those are the best kind

Sure we’ve had our ups and downs

From the high school halls

To the schoolyard playgrounds

But we stayed strong through

This journey called life

Friends like mine

Are the hardest to find

Whether we’re playing ball

Or fishing for trout

My friends are the ones

That make me twist and shout.

I have no idea where I be in life without the people I call my friends. This poem will never be enough to describe how much they mean to me.
