Friends and Success

My generation today is so caught up in nothing but technology, success in life is no longer the focus When you’re alone you become conditioned to your surroundings, You forget about your motive I took the time out to find special friends who made me realize, working hard for your success is worth it Cash, women, and being smart was once my only focus,I got a wakeup call to take a better notice My friends taught me success isn’t about cash, women or how smart you are,  It’s the heart, mind, and determination to go farI use to believe giving up was an option I couldn’t handle when things got tough My friends taught me how success is hard work,I can’t give up when things get rough As friends we connect hand and hand, Encouraging one another together we stand They taught me so much,  I pushed away my distractions I keep my mind in the books,  I thank nobody but them for taking action
