Friends

A second for appreciation,
against the grinding grain wherein
being bitter is a cultural trend.

Make not enemies now.

If there's a God, or if there isn't,
I should thank the timely visit to gift a few;
the worst of myself.

It aurates philosophy on likability,
and cherish the loudest of claps.
Perhaps it is meant to recognize
the world, and the people residing cannot
be owned by selfish fate.

And I love the audible cackles,
sobs,
and burps especially so.

Because the noise keeps you in company,
and the quiet simply means you're alone.
