Freedom

What is Freedom? Is it a concept or is it real?

Is it an emotion or an illusion?

And does it come in different kinds or types?

This word or idea called Freedom has different meanings in life

One can experience Freedom after being trapped or locked up in a cage

One can experience Freedom after being in physical or spiritual bondage

It can be experienced after holding back for so long & finally being able to let go

It can also be known after giving our lives to Christ

But after being saved, the greatest freedom of all is Freedom from Self

Once we free ourselves from our fears and insecurities,

We are able to do all that we called to do, our purpose, our destiny.

We are likes birds in the sky, who are no longer confined to the safety of the nest.

We can step out of our comfort zones and dare to do the unknown

Go where men have never dared to go

We can speak the Gospel; speak words that are life in places that are lifeless

Places that have been kept in the dark for the lack of bold men and women of God

Now, we can dare to dream about things that seem impossible to man

Do things that men thought we could never do

And with the grace of God, save more souls than we could’ve ever imagined

Freedom sets us in Motion.
