Freedom

Why I write?
I write to free,
to make them all believe,
to really see
if it is or not meant to be.

Why I write?
For a soul once so blue,
Opened only in true,
Because like you,
I’ve been hurt too.

There’s so much out there,
Why not explore?
Share what you know,
And absorb what you don’t.
To learn and be is what’s really free,
Why I write is up to me,
But then again it’s there for thee.
A rest, growth, or joy to read,
The writers have inspired me,
That is why I write to be free.

Why I write?
Expression,
Sensation,
Relaxation,
Inspiration

Why I write?
First right says we write,
Share, display,
A writer simply paths the way,
Giving light upon a brighter day.

There’s so much out there,
Why not explore?
Share what you know,
And absorb what you don’t.
To learn and be is what’s really free,
Why I write is up to me,
But then again it’s there for thee.
A rest, growth, or joy to read,
The writers have inspired me,
That is why I write to be free.

Be free with thee,
A forever youth to see,
A writer lives forever,
Legendary, words carry on,
A writer then and a writer beyond.

I write for my peers, and loved ones,
For everyone’s story,
To each man his own,
To share or to keep, and weep.
Love in my tone, and hope in my words,
Millions of reasons it could be,
But for me I’ll always chose free.
