Freedom

Location

It seems like an eternity ago that our flames burned as one
I cannot recall the memories I crave so badly that your heart etched in my memory
Your scent no longer lingers around me trying to entice me
My body no longer remembers your hands caressing it, raising my fire
My eyes refuse to recall your soulful eyes that tell a myriad of pain and hurt, those soft big lips that transported me to other dimensions, your dark, rich complexion
I can no longer feel my fingers through your soft pin straight hair
Our future vision with two kids and happy families is faded by the complicated nuances in love and war
Your demons took over your heart, living there eating off my energy so that I no longer existed
They evicted me from your body, your mind and your soul
But you allowed them...so I released you
