Fragments

love has fixed its gentle tooth in me

love has loosened arrows to rain

love has patched my crumbling foundation of fears

love has abandoned me

love has taken me hostage

love is a flame

love licks blueish on the edge of dreams

love can never die

love will will itself into being despite death despite hardship

despite fear despite truth despite falsehood love cares nothing

for these love will will itself into being

love has taken possession of my every waking thought

love is forgotten near a pile of ashes

love has rendered itself fully in you

love has smiled, its eyes large and dead and luminous

love has moaned, its mouth frozen in a graceful arc

love has pierced me with its look

love has kissed my skin with sky-blue

love will never die love will never die
