The future I fear

 

Rejection I fear

 

My Elders tell me that I should not

 

Fear

 

That I have no reason to

But I fear none the less

 

Solitude I fear

 

Failure I fear

 

I’ve looked those things in the face and I know

 

It is not irrational to

And I have every right to

And why can’t they admit that?

 

I know they have

 

Feared

 

I know they still do

My teachers will not tell me that it is ok to
