Forgotten

Peace

has been forgotten lately

so she’s retreated. She hides

behind the curtains, alone in the

dark like a burrowed mole.

She keeps hoping her absence

will be noticed.

She knows she’s a lot of work

but she wants you to know

with a little nurturing

her rewards are priceless.
