Forgiveness

Every time you make another excuse,
It’s as if you’re tightening your own noose;
Thankfully, there is freedom when you’re honest,
Complete truth leads to forgiveness, which is best.

Bitterness leads to death,
Anger leads to your last breath;
Enemies of forgiveness,
But truth brings you holiness.

It may seem a simple lesson,
Take the worst out and put the best in;
This is something everyone must learn,
To make it to Heaven, so they won’t burn.

This poem is about:
Me
My family
My community
My country
Our world
