Forgive Myself

Depression stunned me.

Altered and changed,

The Perception of my mind

Society and People Screaming,

Don't look like that, look like this!

Put on some weight,

Not that much.

Everyone's asking,

Why are you so thin?

Why are you sad?

You need to stop looking like that?

I hid from them.

Looking into the mirror,

A saddened face looking back at me

I lingered my hands across my stomach,

crossing them over my chest.

I am beautiful

A faint breath leaving my lips,

As I stared at myself

I will not be sad any longer.

I forgive you mind

We will change this.

I won't listen to them

Or society any longer.

I love you and
