Forgetting You

I wanted to forget so bad

All the memories that we had

So I moved on with life

It was nice and back to the usual strife

And then the day came

My memories were not the same

I was wondering about your eyes

I swear they weren't blue like the skies

So I pulled out my phone,

I swear I had known

I thought I knew

But sure enough they were blue

Me
