Forgetting How to Smile; the Darkness Within

I thought I was sad when I found out Santa Claus wasn’t real,

Dark emotions I did feel.

When Snape killed Albus Dumbledore,

Pure pain shot straight to my core.

When Justin Bieber became a D-bag,

I wanted to curl up with my mug and a tea bag.

When I came home from school and my Dad’s doctor thought I was in 7th grade,

My “I’m in college,” confidence began immediately to fade.

And when Michael left The Office,

I was sure I’d never be able to watch.

But none of those can even compare to walking in,

And seeing my roommate tickling her boyfriend’s crotch.
