Forget me now, Remember me then

See my wrinkles as evidence that I have laughed.

See my failing eyes as evidence that I have seen the world.

See my labored breath as evidence that I have inhaled all I could out of life.

See my tears as evidence of the joy that I experienced.

See my brittle hands as evidence that I held life in my hands.

See my immobility as evidence that I once ran at the speed of light.

See my pain as evidence that I experienced great comfort.

See my tired body as evidence of a life of fulfillment.

See my passing as evidence that another is renewed.

You may not see it now, but everything was awesome, and will be again.
