A Forever Open Eye to the Future

If I knew what my ancestors were like.
If I knew which ancestor I take after the most.
That's what I have always wanted to know.

I write for the future--the children who share the same blood with me--hoping that one of them finds some similarities between us.

If I knew what my ancestors were like.
If I knew which ancestor I take after the most.
I would feel less lonely.

I write for the future--the children who share the same blood with me--hoping that one day, they read my poetries and feel less lonely.

I write to share my life and experiences with the future children. I write to share my feelings and understandings of life. I write to share myself and leave a part of me for the future generations to see.

In a world where people are constantly trying to impress others with their money, it is nice to know that others in the past went through the same hardship and difficulties of society's standards in different forms.
