Judgement

Sat, 04/05/2014 - 18:10 -- ahess1

I sit in front of the judge & the jury trying to plead my case.

They stare with such scrutiny, I can see "she's guilty" on every face.

“Innocent” I plead & "you'll never prove me guilty of the crime at hand.

Judge me as you'd like, you'll never see me fall, on this I will forever stand."

Prosecuting eyes surround me from all directions & they'll never leave .

This soldier will fight with courage, strength, faith & in myself I believe.

With these weapons I will conquer my goals & if that's a crime, send me to jail.

Still the sight that you long to see will never be, I will continually prevail.
