Smell the fresh pine of the forest.
The cool breeze coming through the trees,
washing over my face.

Feel the soft needles under my feet,
as they make a worthy path on the forest floor.
Tread lightly here, for the splendor is a treasure.

Hear the animals scurry about.
Squirrels and birds flit among the trees,
back and forth they race.

See the trees towering into the sky,
the branches bowing to make a door.
You’re welcome to enter here, they assure.

Taste the wonders that lie within.
Berries and wintergreen beneath the trees,
as a simple snack for the hungry case.
