Foregiveness

Hebrews 12:24

24 You have come to Jesus, The One Who mediates the new covenant

between God and people, and to the sprinkled Blood, which speaks

of forgiveness instead of crying out for vengeance like the blood of Abel.

Spent enough time thinking about you

In emotions you’ve cost me enough

I want to forget ... clear off my mind

Just go on without thought from above

Keep what you have ... be happy with it

Who needs you ... oh sinking sand?

I’ll walk alone and I’ll get with it

No more dragging hand in hand.

Mind over matter ... useless chatter

Mind over whatever will be

Children chatter as all are gathered

On the peaceful shore of Eternity.

Now I am free ... no more grieving

But what is that ... turning within me?

Conscience sweeps my heart into weeping

It seems that I’ll never be set free

I just overlooked ... all that I need

And what makes me able to live

Is unconditional love and its creed

And so to move on and forgive ...
