Times change, place go.
Our hearts will crumble, then be restored.
The scenery is different, the lights are dim
but the reflection of you still holds true.
I think of you, I think the same.
Our hearts and minds are connected through chains.
If you're lost, look to the sky.
I'll be right there by your side.
When you laugh, think of me.
I'll be right there in every other memory.
And if the sadness rolls into your eyes,
remember, I'm always by your side.
The bridge may be broken, the walls torn down.
But our our house of dreams is still carried around.
Apart but not far,
a footprint away from the steps of time that made us this way.
