Fly Away

Beatings, bruising, cuts and scars

Smiles to hide the pain

Wishing on a shooting star

That I could fly away

Heartbreak, tears, screams and cries

Hidden day by day

Covered up with laughter

And hopes to fly Away

Risen up on angels' wings

I smile away the tears

Holding back from letting loose

The pain of all these years

Fighting for my happiness

All throughout my lifetime

Wishing love would come and stay

And for a miracle to call mine

Every second

Every hour

Every night and day

Many years and so much time

Spent wishing I could fly away.
