You’re so small
You grow every day
Inch by inch
So skinny and long
You start to bloom
Pedal by pedal
You’re so bright and secure
Peacefully you stand
Making the world so colorful
Child after child
Smells your radiance from a mile away
So intrigued by the smell
Step by step
A child appears
Pluck
You are now detached from your bed
Day by day
You wilt, hanging your head
Pedal by pedal
Falls to the ground
Your life was so precious
But now you’re in the past
You’ll live again
In a time or two.
