Flow

A trailing tear that climbs to brush the sky-
The sunlight dances gold across its face.
A galaxy below so full of life.

A glassy mirror, soft surface passes by.
In its shine the earth’s reflection makes,
A trailing tear that climbs to brush the sky.

So low you are but peering down so high;
These depths that hold unfathomable space:
A galaxy below so full of life.

Dark waters just as clear as muddled lies,
And chopped to white; the wind goads on the race;
A trailing tear that climbs to brush the sky.

And just as energy will never die;
Though above on shore the ice will bend to beak,
A galaxy below and full of life.

It flows as Nature’s raindrops always cry,
Until we slow our unforgiving pace:
A trailing tear that climbs to brush the sky;
A galaxy below so full of life.
