Flawless

Location

Roll out of bed and brush your hair.

Hurry up; you’ve got to be somewhere.

Your face is your blank slate,

But you let your make-up dictate.

You redden your lips to grab their attention,

Brighten your eyes to silence your apprehension.

And you waste precious time to cover your skin,

All because insecurities you hold within.

But trust me; you don’t need it,

Even though you don’t believe it.

You’re beautiful; no imperfections,

Let go of this societal infection.

Leave your make-up bag on your counter, at home,

And tell all the haters to leave you alone.

No matter what they say, remember that you’re faultless.

Let your natural beauty shine through ‘cause, darling, you’re flawless
