Flawless

Location

I wake up with my hair all over the place

Raise up with not much grace

Then stumble to the bathroom at a very slow pace

As a look in the mirror at my face

My right eye slants a little more than my left

I have a really small nose

Then really big lips

My cheeks are kinda chunky

But my teeth are perfectly straight

(thanks to two years of braces)

My ears stick out

And my hair is at an awkward length

As I step back not ready to face the day

This is all I have to say

All of my flaws aren’t flaws at all,

they are my traits

Traits that make up me,

and what a wonder Me!

I praise my slightly slanted eye

And small nose

And big lips

And even those chunky cheeks

I look in the mirror and say

Come on and let us conquer today!
