FLAWLESS

In their eyes,

My ambitions are governed by the thoughts of a prize.

For simple tasks, I'm not considered but simply despised.

Looking at the mirror, I see more than they can.

All I needed to do was pick myself up and learn to stand.

What side of me no one sees is reflected in my eyes when I laugh.

Lessening a goal in the middle of the journey will only resort to cutting me in half.

Eventually, no stranger nor perspective will grow.

Sometimes it's the words I just have to let go.

Sometimes it's just the doubts I must outgrow when my whole being is waiting to prove I'm flawless and no longer concious of what their eyes will show.
