Flaunting Flaws

Fri, 01/16/2015 - 19:45 -- jangmi

This poem isn't about your pimples, your flat nose, or your thin lips.

This poem isn't about your bruises, your scars, or your stretch marks.

This poem isn't about your height, your weight, or your eye color.

This poem isn't about your flat hair, your stubby nails, or your fat toes.

This poem isn't about your selfie, your profile picture, or your style.

This poem isn't about your doubts, your insecurities, or your battles.

This poem is about you.

And there's no beauty in the world that can outdo your inner self.

Step away from the mirror and embrace your flawlessness.

Love, laugh, live like this poem never exists.

You got this.
