Flatter

Job 32:22

“For I do not know how to flatter else my Maker would soon take me away”

Flattering of others can be … easily done away with.

You know it is much easier … to look there for flaws.

With self it’s different … to measure against own standards

or to what God reveals … as you lick your paws.

Is it a matter of flatter … to think you know another?

Does it bring satisfaction … to think you’re set aside?

To understand guidelines better ... then just live as provided

to step out of yourself … so in others to abide.

When is our time to go away … is it when redeemed?

When is it when we do depart and are seated in heavenly places?

When is it when we die … so we may live forever?

When is it that we know … and gain familiar faces?
