Flashes of Heavy Lashes

drops sinking down to lashes laying heavy.
Night calls out loud and girls lay there weary.
Breath seeps in fast and blows in their chest.
The weight calms her soul but fear strikes her fast. Deserving feels so common,
but my god theres no where left to go.
Forever lays there frozen,
no cars, no keys, no tears left to shed.
Bruises red and rosey, her legs shed down broken.
Her soul left there hardened, in rocks of golden flashes. Headache grounds her fears, but pain tears her wide.
Where did she go?
Where her mind takes her often.
The screams were real, soft and stolen.
Her screams were real, I'm sorry
theres no where else to run.

Nursing school plus disability vs. find or create a career.

Choice is still hard, but i have chosen not to LIVE for far too long.

My responsibilities create my rights not vice versa.

I am responsible to god first, then me, than my ever growing family,

and only then the community and everyone else. Backlash much needed

to hone me into the best version of myself i can be.

Started with inability to escape in a car and wont end there. PTSD is too heavy

to be driven around to appointments and not have a true life of my own.

Obviously i am better than this.
