The Fixer

If you are torn at the seams, I am the needle and thread
Who await your hands to sew you neatly back together
But the seam will never be as perfect as when it first started
Add some embroidery to make it even better
If you are broken, let me fix you
Don't throw yourself away
Don't let anyone call you garbage
Watch who you hand your self worth to
Because one's trash is another's treasure
We live where cracks and breaks and imperfections are unacceptable
But I accept them
I accept you
All your flaws and imperfections
Your cracks and breaks
Your bruises, your scrapes, your scars
Accidental OR on purpose
Battered, bruised, broken
Believe.
Fix.
Don't throw yourself away.
