Fix You

Pretending was all fun and games

Back when we were little

Now it has become a daily habit

So used to being someone else

Forgotten who you truly are

Lost in a sea full of strangers

Faces you don't recognize

Knowing the people around you don't understand

Trying to get through this on your own

Fake is the new normal

Forced smiles and laughs

Lies starting to come undone

Just waiting for someone to ask

To take away the pain

To fix me

Because I am broken
