Fish and Worms

I wonder if worms know they look like boneless fingers.

I wonder if fish know they smell.

I wonder if fish know they eat boneless fingers,

And I wonder if worms know they are eaten by such smelly creatures.

I wonder if fish kill themselves by throwing themselves on land.

I wonder if the animals living on land would mind.

I wonder if dogs can recognize increasing numbers of dead fish.

I wonder if fish can have seasonal depression.

I wonder if fish on the ocean floor know when it is snowing.

I wonder if worms know when the rain is coming to drown them.

I wonder if worms are scared of being impaled by fishing hooks.

I wonder if worms know how ugly they are.

I wonder if worms know that fish kill themselves,

Because I don’t know and I am not above asking a worm.
