The first has been forgotten

Why is it that you can sit there like i dont exist,

And your love i'll never miss,

Because you were never there,

No protection, no care,

Not even a happy birthday 19 years later,

You just continued your life and left me and her behind,

After you did your damage and scarred  her life,

The weakness we never followed, nor did we shed a tear,

But for me at one time there was a sense of  fear,

It was because of people like you that she hid me from the world,

After you she then turned into a guardian, strong, brave, and bold,

You thought she needed you but all along it was you that needed her,

And now she is my wake-up call to the real world,

As time goes by you've grown weak and sick,

And people ask me if i'll ever visit,

It makes me look like the bad one when i say no,

Then she turns to me and says i should go,

But even the first step makes me feel regret,

When you reply "don't trip"

Over your grave where you'll lay alone,

Never knowing how much your first daughter has grown....
