Fire

Tue, 12/12/2017 - 22:00 -- stesut

Let's start a fire

Let the world be wrapped in flames

We'll watch the destruction grow

As we sit in silence

On a gasoline soaked field

Find the beauty

In the illuminated clouds

As ash rains down softly

Like the first snowfall

And as the flames creep nearer

To our flammable spot

I'll take your hand in mine

And count the dwindling seconds

Let's start a fire

And watch the whole world be wrapped in flames

We'll watch the destruction grow

As we sit in silence

Unfazed by our domain

Destruction only hurts

When it's ugly

But I find it as beautiful as you

So let's remain unburned

As we gaze out on the fiery maze
