Life isn't about your highs and lows

Its about wether you can catch what it throws

Its dim at times, then it glows 

You attempt to hide life's defeats but it shows

Looking at your frown, everybody clearly knows

Life seems to have a death grip 

Until you decide to change it

You look at your life and attempt to rearrange it 

Fear, shame, and guilt waiting to take it

You look at the future can you make it?

Life seems so depressing,

but the topic of hope is what im really addressing

It shines like the sun,  seen in the day

hidden in the night

It lights your way 

Its presented with opposition in the midst of fright 

Sometimes it cannot be seen by sight

In order to keep it you have to fight 

For the battle within is going to take all of your might 

Its just the battle of life

Do you trust Faith or sight?

What can you do to get out of the strife 

Its stabbing away at you like it's a knife 

Hope is the foundation for positivity

Dissapointment is the cancer for negativity

But the sound of your heart beating is a symbol of your longetivity 

Your fight isnt empty its part of the remedy 

In the end we will all hear of the melody.
