Fighting For Your Dream

By Thalia Flores

Running at every direction for my prey,

I really want this for eternity

I forever need them to keep me flying

to the spirits from real beauty of fresh uphill air

and the scents that make up paradise

But the dragons whisper in my ear

“Child, accepting our own reality won’t hurt you much as the lies you’re making inside your head”

“Stop dreaming!”

“You can’t, you don’t have gold, diamonds and whiskey like us to get them ”

I get punched to the floor,

I’m paranoid on my actions.

I don’t want to hear their reality

it’s hurts me  and chokes me

I can’t breath

I’m turning blue

I don’t trust them

WAIT!

NO!

Imagination can’t be cruel!

How can I make it true?

How can I hunt my desires?

If I don’t got the gold and diamonds to fly

Why are they so cruel?

I can’t stay here feeling lost

Trying to find the sun to show me my world

I want to leave but they don’t want to let me go

I’ll prove them and push them with my force of victory

I’l hurt my hands and feet till the day I get what I want

My  eyes won’t shut till the day i get what I want

like my father and mother said

“Reach for the constellations and rebel them because it’s not their goal it’s yours”

I’m prepared

I’m prepared

I won’t loose

because

I’ve already won
