As I sit here waiting, grasping for my next breath of air
I look, tearing up wishing I could ask for help
Sitting seeing no one who I could gesture out the movements
Help, can't breath
Something inside of me dying deep
Seeming as if my voice was the first to go
Meanwhile, my emotions were shortly after
The hurt, the despair, the anxiety building
As my chest sinks deeper
Grasping for air
How could this happen to me
The one I wanted most is now gone
For whom I had a reason for breathing
Once here,
Now gone
Leaving me grasping for air
FIGHTING
