The Female

Why do we need to cover up our true form,

Using our faces like canvases.

Why do we need to be a specific size?

Am I still considered “pretty” if I am 5’1 and I only shop for clothes that are XL?

Why are we used and treated poorly all because of our gender.

Even our own sex harasses each other instead of supporting one another.

If I wipe off this makeup or eat more will I be treated the same?

Will I still get compliments on how I look?

Will I be able to bher the comments of other people?

They say beauty is pain,

But I didn’t know it hurt this bad.
